I'm getting ready to bottle a Heffe so I went over to tastybrew to use their priming sugar calculator. It's telling me to use twice the amount of priming sugar I generally use for pale ales. I understand that a heffe has a higher level of carbonation, but twice as much? When I squeeze my PET bottles of pale ale they're hard as can be. I'm wondering how it could handle much more.

Help ease my paranoia! Many thanks.

Hefe's are a beer that are highly carbed compared to other beers.

5-6 oz is what you want for 5g.
