Holiday Keezer Build

I hope this is the right forum for this question. I have a new Holiday 7 cubic foot freezer from Lowes, and I'm going to make it into a keezer. I do not want to build a collar for it, so my question is related to installing the bulb from the temperature controller. I know on the older Holiday freezers you could insert the bulb through a hole behind one of the hinges. This freezer has a metal/aluminum foil look on the inside. Does anyone know if that method will work on this freezer.
