How do ya'll use your drip trays?

We all know there's typically at least a small amount of beer in tubes that's not ideal to be in your brew as your pour it from the keg-- do you use your drip tray to take care of it or just drink it down?

I ask because I'm trying to figure out how I want to install drip trays into my bar...and if there are any tricks of the trade I don't know about :)

...which works well since Atlanta is in the UK...dang Orfy, break out the atlas..;) j/k

I use a small ,33 liter glass by the tap and run it for a split second to clear the "older" brew out of the lines. Of course, this is only after it sits for a day or so.

If you are serving one after another this practice is a complete waste of beer (except for the first one...:D).
