Ok guys was wondering your thoughts on this recipe, took an existing recipe and modified it a little bit. Tell me what you think about the hops, the honey and I want this with a nice vanilla flavor to this one.

Vanilla Wheat Beer Recipe
-7lbs Wheat/Barley Malt Extract (60)
-1lb Honey (Flame Out)
-.50lb Cara-Pills Grains
-.50lb Crystal Malt 20
-1 oz New Zealand Hallertauer .
-Wheinstephen Wheat Beer Yeast #3068
-2 Vanilla Beans (Secondary)

Boil 3 Gallons of Water Steep Specialty Grain at 155 F for 30 minutes. All 7 lbs of Wheat Extract at Start and 1 oz of Hallertauer hops. Vanilla Beans soaked in Vodka for a day split, then put into secondary.

brew it.
Tell us what you think.

I predict it will be yummy.
I think it would be something my Girlfriend would really like.
and I am envious that you brewed it before me :D

Not familiar with that yeast, but I put some vanilla extract in a Wit beer with WLP410 a couple months back. The natural sweet esters that the yeast threw were perfectly complimented with the vanilla I thought. It was a very popular beer with women who weren't big beer fans. It was just refreshing enough to be popular with most male drinkers as well.
