best way to store extra hops

I'm trying to figure out how to keep some extra hops for for a few months, maybe a year tops. What is the best way to store them to keep them as fresh as possible? Zip-lock baggy in the freezer?

vacuum sealed in the freezer FTW!

I vacuum seal them and store in the freezer.

If you can't seal them up with a vacuum sealer then a zip lock with all the air pushed out works. I keep mine in the freezer.

I read an article that mentioned adding CO2 to a mason jar full of hops and then freezing. Is this less efficient than a vaccuum sealer?
