At $5660 (NZ$ or $4700 US$) for a 6 gallon (US) capacity system it's one of those NFW systems... Plus, they put false information on the FAQs page. Of course, it's in their best interest to make the information slant into their favor, but anyone with half a brain (or any brewing experience) can see the false statements from a mile away.

It MIGHT sell over in New Zealand, but I can't see it taking off anywhere else.

IMO, you can get/make a much better setup for far less money.

Don't forget, for people outside of NZ, there will be shipping charges (unknown amount), and possibly additional taxes on top of the cost. Better off getting a temperature controlled conical and going with a ferment under pressure method. Or, just RDWHAHB and stay the course. :D

Not bad if you can afford three or four of them in your man cave. Not so sure if "Freshest Beer" is the best marketing ploy. Some beer styles are like a MILF, better to have when mature.

Yuppers... While some are really good in less time, more are even better once they've had more time to age. Maybe all the kits they're selling are for fizzy light ales and such.

You realize how many fully jacketed/cooled conicals you could get, plus a system to transfer and dispense all with CO2 you could get for $5k? Even in 6 gallon capacity (or 7 gallon).

Of course, you'll also need to bottle what's left in the machine if you want to ferment another batch before it gets emptied. IMO, PITA in high order.

I was kinda offended and laughed at the same time reading the FAQ of this site. And the price of 5660 NZ, and counter pressure bottle filler at 450 NZ is a little steep. A person they know.. won a medal... using their equipment.

Well...with the conversion rate it's only $4700 US...and they include some flip top bottles to use to store beer while you brew another batch. We all laugh, but there are enough gadget freaks with money to spare that this could work.

How about the $300 (NZ$, $250 US$) 10# CO2 tank.
