I have a 36 QT Colman (with the bottom "valley"), fitted with a braid + 3/8-size nipple set.

It works, yet, I would like to try the copper manifold, but am lost as far as putting together the manifold-to-nipple connection.

What have you used/ what do I need?

Note that I would like the connection to angle down slightly, to reach down in the "valley" recess.

If you have 3/8" NPT threads on the inside of the bulkhead, you'll need a female adapter. If it's a 3/8" coupling with female threads, it's called a male adapter. If the terminology escapes you a picture is a thousand words.

i used a 1/2" Nipple, but there is what i did.

1/2" nipple --> 1/2" FPT Copper Tube adapter --> 90 degree copper elbow --> 45 degree copper elbow --> Copper T (in line with manifold)

I have a few pics at home that will post when i get off work.

Here are the pics
