First Annual Napa Homebrew Challenge
(Sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association and the Beer Judge Certification Program)

Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery

1250 Lincoln Avenue, Calistoga, California
Entry Fee: $8.00 Per Entry (checks payable to “Bungbrewers”)
Entry Deadline: Entries and fees will be accepted between Monday, January 17 and Saturday, January 29, 2011.
Entry Requirements: Submit 3 twelve ounce bottles free of identifying marks or impressions on the bottles or caps. Completely blacked out caps are okay. Each bottle must have an entry form attached to it by rubber bands. NO TAPE.
Style Guidelines: Use the BJCP Style Guidelines to classify your entry. You may enter your beers in any of the BJCP categories 1 – 23. We will not be judging meads and ciders.

For judging purposes, we will collapse any beer categories with a small numbers of entries.
Awards: Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to the top three beers in each collapsed category during our awards ceremony starting at approximately 3:00 p.m. There will be a special ribbon for the overall Best of Show beer.

Final Judging: Is on Saturday, February 12. Following the judging, all entrants are invited to our post-judging awards party at the Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery, starting at 1 pm. All competition staff and judges will receive a lunch for their efforts. Others may purchase food if they wish.

Scoresheets: Can be picked up following the Awards Ceremony. Scoresheets and awards not picked up at the event will be mailed to participants as soon as practical after the competition.

Competition Updates: Will be posted at our website starting in October. Results will be posted here as soon as possible after the competition:
