Mr Wizard from the BYO website and the guy in charge of the cellar at Bell's brewery in Kalamazoo both say their favorite sanitizer is peroxyacetic acid.

Mr Wizard especially likes it because it degrades into vinegar and water.

Any idea where one could buy it?:tank:
 
We use to use this at the dairy I work at. It led to some serious problems in our waste water treatment plant. I don't think that you have to worry about that. It also didn't work as well as phosopheric acid due to the hard water we had. However, I always thought it was a better product and was overruled to keep it.
