Oh Noes: Earthquake in Santa Rosa

7.2 quake today centered in Baja set off smaller quakes, on of which was a 4.2 centered near Santa Rosa.

I hope Vinnie's barrels are okay.

I haven't heard anything about a quake up here in Norcal today? Just a lot of shaking down south...

I live in Santa Rosa, and I didn't feel a thing. I'm sure that all Vinnie's barrels just got a little stirred up at the most.

Yeah, I've only heard news of stuff in Mexico

Looks like Santa Rosa has been quite for a bit

There were dozens of earthquakes yesterday on the west coast. A news story not listing them all would probably not have mentioned the Santa Rosa one, which was small.

It is extremely unlikely that the Baja earthquake "set off" anything in northern CA.

I had 14 gallons just start to boil when the quake hit. It sloshed around a lot, but did not spill a drop. Good times!
