Hi all,

Quick question about bottling. I'm making Malkore's mead as a party favor and plan on bottling into 1/4 wine bottles. I was going to cap with crowns rather than a cork. Do I need to worry about creating bottle bombs for my guests? Thoughts?
 
Bottle bombs generally aren't a risk with MAOM unless you bottle before fermentation is mostly finished. From what I understand using caps on a bottle instead of corks should work fine. I think capping isn't as good for maintaining an airtight seal as corks are, but I'm not sure.
