so i've always been brewing 10 gallon batches, but I've always just used my twin tap kegerator for each 5 gallon corny. i would drink and enjoy. no problem.

well, now I have 2 cornies carbonating a pale ale. i am brewing a 10 gallon batch of something else and would like to serve all 4 cornies at a bbq. can i just finish carbonating these 2 cornies, remove from kegerator and store in fridge, then carbonate next 2 cornies and serve at bbq and retap 2 cornies in storage on bbq day? does that make sense?

sounds like a workable plan, enjoy the bbq/beer day.

so i can disconnect it after it carbonates it and store it (granted there are no leaks in the cornies)? and then reconnect it when i'm ready to serve.

Sure, you can do that. If it's carbed, it's just like being in a big bottle at that point. And like you said, make sure there are no leaks on that corny.
