5 Gallon water jug

I have a 5 gallon water jug that I want to use as a secondary. It is PETE, verified, 100% for sure.... My question is not "is plastic ok?...." but has anyone ever used a non-BB plastic secondary? I mean BB seems to have a lock on this market, and PETE is PETE right? I am actually getting a little tired of all this HB stuff costing so much. $30 for a BB? Cmon..... its a freaking PLASTIC blottle, the same thing that my gatorade comes in (needed for hangovers)

BB isn't magic. If it's cheap and recyleable 1 or 2 I'd use it in a heartbeat.

I habitually check the recycling number on all 5gal water dispensers I see. I will get lucky some day.....

If it is PETE use it. If your still unsure you can mail it to me and I'll use it.

I do the same thing! Anything plastic and over a gallon in size gets flipped over. My wife just chuckles at me now.

My local grocery store has a filtered UV treated water dispenser and half the bottles are 1's and 2's. The rest are 7's.
