I plan on doing a Citra SMASH IPA this weekend, here's my plans:
5Gal Batch
11 LBS mariss otter
.5 Citra FWH
.5 Citra @20
.5 Citra@15
.5 Citra @ 10
.5 Citra @ 5
.5 Citra @ 0
That'll leave me with about 3.5 oz to figure out how much I should dry hop with. I'm thinking maybe 2 oz?
I plan on mashing in at 154 for 60 min.
Boil for 60.
I am a little unsure about how much water to strike and sparge with though, any suggestions would help. And also, how much wort to expect to boil off?
