You really need to rent a Documentary called American Movie. It is about a guy named Mark Borchardt who tries to make a really, really bad movie (Coven and Northwest).

And I thought I was the only one lucky enough to lay eyes on this masterpiece. :D

Though if documentaries are your thing, these three are pure gold!

There's a British actor who had a few lead roles - but many more supporting roles - named Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarkin in the original Star Wars film). Nearly all of the dozens of movies he was in could easily fall into the "Bad Movie" category.

NO! I DEMAND you take Spaceballs OFF that LIST!

Or I will fire a warning shot across your nose!

LOL! I didn't submit it. I actually like it myself.
I just copy and pasted what everyone has posted up to this point. Don't shoot the messenger (Paster in this case)! :D

After 17 pages I can't believe that this movie wasn't mentioned:

The Gods Must Be Crazy

Gods_must_be_crazyposter.jpg

It's one of those cult followed movies, like the Living Dead series (I own em all too)

But you have to admit, cinematography, acting, etc., wise.. it is a pretty bad move, though I love the hell out of it. I saw it first when I was a kid, but it gets so much better after a few drinks!

Epic list!!! Thank you!!! Going to have to look some of those up and others I've already seen.

No problem man, glad to help out a fellow bad movie buff.

A bunch of guys from this board got together and rented the Room complete with a drinking game.
Would you mind telling me the rules of this game? Also, have you heard the RiffTrax with it? Haven't heard the whole thing but sounds like they do a good job...

+1 or 2 or whatever. Great documentary, actually kind of depressing.

Thank you for this list. You just saved me a lot of work.

Yea, I know exactly what you mean. His friend Mike was sorta sad. The one f'ed up by drugs.

Mostly sad for me because I know a lot of guys like that. I actually had one friend EXACTLY like that- sounds the same when he talks, acts the same, same mannerisms and all for the same reason. I hate to see old friends go down like that...

But still a very funny movie, don't let us deter you from watching.

Dude, you rule. I edited my first post in this thread and added your compilation.

I love the list! It looks like I have seen a lot of them, I guess I am a bad movie fanatic!
I have another one to add to the list ******Wizard of Gore*******
on a side note I have been enjoying the Syfy channel movies like Gargoyle, Cyclops, ect. I now set the DVR to record the syfy saturday movie!

Society
Blood Diner
FrankenHooker
Brain Dead
Terror Vision

all amazing. and so bad...
so amazing.

Saw a good one last night- Dead Snow

Norwegian horror-comedy that is intentionally funny. In the vein of Evil Dead (almost the same plot), even some references to alot of those classics. Extremely gory.

Actually had a couple scary parts too.

Also it's available on the Netflix instant queue.

I've been wanting to see Dead Snow for a while. It's the gore thing that's kind of keeping me away. Is it like, Friday the 13th gory or is it like facemelting, people getting torn apart gory?

Definitely the latter. It is EXTREMELY gory, possibly the goriest movie I've ever seen.

However it's not like "Hostel" gory where everything seems realistic. It's very obviously fake so it didn't bother me too much.

I had to post this one here. I saw a portion of a movie called Hercules (1983) with Lou Ferrigno.

Talk about horrible acting, terrible cinematography, and weird/plot!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085672/

It was a melding of modern science and mythology. uggh.

I watched Troll 2 for the first time last night. I've slept it over and thought about it for a while... I think it is the worst movie I've ever seen.

Awesomely bad.
