Hello All - My 50 gallon batch of red wine has a harsh "oak" taste. Is there anything I can do or add to make it less harsh? Thanks.
 
Ok, then. Hmmm. I'm thinking that you are tasting some tannins. This should age out. How old is the wine and what kind of grapes? Did you adjust acid in it? Did you add anything to it at all? Did you ferment on the skins a long time?

I'm no grapes expert, but I might be able to help you with some ideas.
