Simple question...

Since Carapils technically does not add any flavor, what would be the harm in including it in every recipe just to aid in production and rentention of a healthy head?

I know it may mess with the SRM a bit but that is really not a concern for me.

Let me qualify this question...

I would not apply this method to beers which typically do not have a healthy head (i.e. a cream stout).

Not every recipe needs it. But there are plenty of people who do put it in most recipes.

But keep in mind that it also adds some body. So it is best kept out of already full bodied beers.

I'm thinkin of doing the same thing with maybe some carahell or carafoam so IMO its a good idea

Not needed for a small amount of malted wheat, just adds a bit of head thickness and retention. (I BIAB too!)
