Scored MAJOR points by making this tonight:

2 Salmon filets
1 pack of rice pilaf
1 bunch asparagus
1 pack lump crabmeat (near the canned tuna)
1 pack of hollandaise sauce

Start the rice pilaf, the kind that takes 20 minutes to make. When it starts boiling, place a collander over the top and put the asparagus in it.

When you have 15 minutes left, put the salmon in the oven (on broil - high) with a slice of lemon on each piece.

When you have 5 minutes left, flip the salmon and make the hollandais sauce per the recipe.

When it's all done plate as follows:

Bed of rice, then 4-5 pieces of asparagus, then salmon, then crab meat, then hollandais sauce. Pair with either a WIt beer or a glass of white wine.

The crabmeat, the asparagus and the hollandaise make it "oscar" style

Hey here is how you make the hollandaise sauce - its really easy

1 stick butter
4 egg yolks
1 table spoon lemon juice
sprinkle of salt

whisk it a pan till the butter melts, and it starts to thicken

Asparagus, holandaise and crab
Thanks for not inviting me over tonight...I would only eat the rice, maybe some crab...:D

I never acquired a taste for the other ingredients...I'm a very picky eater. To me, fish and asparagus are right up there with that blended mixture they used to drink on Fear Factor.
