4.42 gallons American Amber

Used the "Tasty Brew" priming calculator using an estimate (at the time) of 4.8 gallons. It suggested 4.4 ounces of corn sugar. I added as much.

Now I know it is 0.4 ounces more than the calculator said I should have used. Will my bottled beers be gushers?

Thanks!

.4oz is just going to make it a little more carbonated, but isn't enough to make gushers outta your beer. RDWHAHB

How long did you ferment? As long as you didn't bottle way to early the beer might be a bit over carbed but .4 oz shouldn't make a huge difference.

RDWHAHB.
It is when guys double the normal amount or more that you have issues.
A 0.4 oz difference is a non issue

Awesome.... Just wanted to make sure.

BTW: Fermented in primary for 2 weeks, racked to secondary for 2 weeks.

Thanks guys.... time to RDWHAHB!! :mug:
