Alcohol: 3.1% ABV
Grain:
.5 lb. American crystal 10L
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Boil: 60 minutes
4 lb. Light malt extract
Hops:
.25 oz. Yakima Goldings (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Yakima Goldings (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
.25 oz. Yakima Goldings (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
.25 oz. Yakima Goldings (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Yakima Goldings (4.5% AA, 0 min.)
.5 oz Yakima Goldings Dry Hop in 2ndary
6.5 Gallon boil
Place grains in cool waterraise temp to 150 then turn off steep for 30 min.
Dry hop secondary with .5 oz Yakima Goldings
5/27/08 F.G. 1.006, Transferred to secondary & dry hopped
6/3/08 Added gelatin, brought temp to 48F
6/6/08 Bottled, primed with 4.75 oz cane sugar
Sorry for the funky format. This beer taste like fresh hops. Its balanced but with a hoppy flavor and aroma. Next time i'd back off a bit on the hops an try for something malty. Just for kicks.
