I'm forumulating some ales right now that figure prominently with Columbus as I've recently come into a fair amount of them. There was a thread recently talking about taking a base APA grist and making it multiple times with a single hop varietal each time. I'm seriously planning to do this with Columbus, Amarillo, and either Cascade or Centennial (I think 3 of these is probably my max bandwidth for the summer).

I love columbus for bittering and sometimes flavor, haven't tried it for aroma. I tend to make a 3CPA: columbus, chinook, cascade.

Done it with Tomahawk, so an all Columbus would work. It is primarily a bittering hop, but give an intense flavor. But, it has to be a flavor you like though.
