So the other day I was brewing, and at the end of the boil saw a piece of plastic in the kettle. Turns out that the plastic ring from the cap on my LME (like the part circled in red in the image) fell into the kettle while I was pouring it in.
It didnt seem like it melted, but I'm not sure if it would still be a cause for concern?
Most threads I found on here mention plastic melting into the wort, and/or particles being present which doesn't seem to be the case here.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
