I found a good blackberry recipe that calls for the primary fermentation to last 5 days but do to circumstances I have waited 7 days. Do you guy's think that I could have ruined it. I was thinking that bacteria could have made it in my wine. Any help is appreaciated!

It will be just fine. The basic rule around here is wait 10-14 days, then check it. You certainly have not ruined it unless you were horribly unsanitary. Its fairly hard to ruin a wine with getting it infected. Take a hydrometer reading (do you have one) and if it is close to the estimated FG then you are fine. If you dont see anything growing on the top of your wine or it smells funny then you are ok. Everything else I am passing to Yooper. She is the resident wine person around here.
