I am ready to make a New Years Wheat. I had planned on making a Halloween Wheat, but brewed a couple others instead.

This is what I have lined up for this one:

6 lbs. Red Wheat
5 lbs. English 2-row Pils
1 lbs. Torrified Wheat
WYeast 3333 German Wheat

I had planned on using straight Hallertau.

What other ideas would be good for this one as far as either fruit addition like Raspberry or Cherry or anything else?

I recently tried a lemongrass wheat that I'd like to take a stab at (not sure what the BJCP judges think about that one, but unless they're at your New Year's bash...). Apparently lemon zest and fresh lemongrass were used in the secondary. Very refreshing, seemingly a summer beer, but not one I would hesitate to drink anytime I found one in my hand.

Hmmm, now that sounds like something I would definately like to try. Thanks for the idea!
