I just brewed a pm, my first, oatmeal stout and it looks and smells great. The taste wasn't too bad, but maybe not too close to what I wanted. I love goose's and I was hoping some one much wiser then me could school me on how the heck you get that strong oat flavor.
 
I've used up to 30 percent oats in stout (3 lbs or so in an average mash)
using a large proportion like that and toasting the oats can really help.
