My buddy and I have been wanting to brew a russian imperial stout for a while so we sat down and came up with a recipe, I was hoping we could get any input as to how the grain bill looks...we're still in the process of figuring out the hops portion.

Row 2 Pale Malt 17 LB 2 OZ
Chocolate Malt 8 OZ
Crystal 90L 1 LB 6 OZ
Debittered Black Malt 2 OZ
Roasted Barley 8 OZ
Flaked Barley 8 OZ
Special B Malt 6 OZ

Any and all input will be helpful. Thanks.

That looks like a more potent version of the one I will be making soon (~18 lb grain bill). I am using 1 oz. of Nugget for 60 min, .5 oz of Liberty at 30 min and another .5 of Liberty at flame out (Alesmith Speedway Stout hops).

Alesmith also adds 3 lbs of DME at flame out. I decided to add some oatmeal instead (to the mash, of course).

Good Luck!
