I've used wyeast oktoberfest to brew an oktoberfest and a Bock. I'm wanting to reuse it again, any suggestions??? I really would like to make a cream Ale using a lager yeast and I'm wondering if anyone has used this yeast before or one like it with a cream Ale. I know its not in the style but I think it could produce a tasty brew. Any thoughts on this?

The cream ale will reject your O'fest yeast (like all good BJCP style guideline beers will) and leave you with something with the taste and texture of split pea soup.

Not really. It will be fine but a Helles or Bo-Pils may be a slightly better choice.

Not the reply I was hoping for.. Could it really be that bad? I had no idea using a yeast out of style could produce such an awful beer.
