This is my first attempt at making wine after brewing many batches of beer over the past few years. I bought a wine expert kit and have been following the instructions, but my fermentation seems to be taking quite a bit longer then I think it should. After 48 hours it bubbled like crazy for 3 days straight and after 7 days was still slowly bubbling. I checked the gravity today and got a reading of 1.024 after 8 days. My original gravity was 1.056. According to the instructions I should have a gravity close to .99 or below. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Thanks

It's going, just slower than the instructions say. Maybe your home is at a cooler temperature than the instructions are designed for. It doesn't matter, just wait until the SG is where it is supposed to be before proceeding with the next step.

You can put some insulation around it. Keep it warmer if your house is cold.
