The Deland Craft Beer Festival
Homebrew Competition is back!!
The Third Annual Deland Craft Beer Fest, being held February 11, 2012 in Downtown Deland, is searching for the best that the homebrewing community can whip up!
The Third Annual Deland Craft Beer Fest will hold a homebrewers competition like no other. Every year we feature a single category for professional judging. We know homebrewers are a creative bunch so this year we are looking for your most creative expression of a Spiced, Herb or Vegetable Beer. Any style is accepted as long as it contains a spice, herb or vegetable. All three would be fine as well! We challenge you to wow us with your creative best. Judging will be by a panel of industry professionals and craft beer loving consumers.
This year we are also announcing our Valentines Inspired category, which will be a recurring category each year. Our Valentines Inspired category asks homebrewers to represent the essence of Valentines Day in their brew. If it says Valentines Day to you and you can figure out how to incorporate it into beer then go for it!! These brews will be judged by Peoples Choice during the event. No style, No guidelines, No rules
Entry Deadline: January 27, 2012
Entry Guidelines:
2012 Category: Spice, Herb Vegetable Two (2) 12-ounce bottles with approved label attached (labels will be available at drop off locations)
Valentines Inspired Category: Four (4) 12-ounce bottles, labeling and branding allowed and encouraged
