As far as I can tell, my beer is finished fermenting, there is no action in the lock. It has been about a week and I was originally going to rack into my secondary tomorrow or monday, but after thinking about it, I think I would rather go without a secondary on this first try. Should I let it sit another week and just taste it tomorrow, or should is it good to bottle now, or should I just do the secondary and stop being lazy. Clarity of beer isn't really an issue with this batch, just taste...

I've done one brew without a secondary. When we went to bottle the trub was so deep that the siphon siphoned out about six cups of trub before we got any beer at all. For that reason alone, I will always go secondary from now on.
