I am going to purchase a Brew Pot for AG brewing. Will a 8 or 9 gal pot be big enough for 5 gal batches (can get a deal on one) or should I pay the extra for a ten gallon one?

I use a 7.5 gallon pot and it's close, so I wouldn't buy an 8 gallon. I would think a 9 gallon would be ok. I would definitely give it a try if it's a good deal!
The 9 gallon will be fine. I use an 8 gallon, and even though it has been close a couple of times, it is usually more than enough. A 9 gallon pot will be fine. However, I have to add the disclaimer that if you can afford it, I would definitely go with the biggest you can get because that is just one less upgrade you will have to make later.
