So Iv been wanting to try a making a cider . I have been reading some recipes in the recipe forum and thinking about adding cinnamon and blueberrys. But not sure the best way. Would I be better off adding cinnamon bark and blueberries to secondary? Or my first idea of steeping them in water with some Carmel malt.? I see alot of you ya are adding lots of sugar/dme/honey with that in fairly large quantities. I was thinking of adding some wheat honey Maby 1or 2 lbs. Would this really impart much honey flavor in final product? Or would all the honey ferment out? I was gonna use us-05 yeast cause that's what I have. Any opinions or comment before I go ahead with this? What should my target FG be?
