I brewed an Imperial Stout a few weeks back and was WAY over my target volume. So when I racked it, I had to quickly clean and sanitize an extra 1 gallon jug for the extra RIS.

So I began thinking last night it might be kind of fun to do something a little out of the norm with the 1 gallon Imperial Stout.

Anyone have any ideas?

Regular stuff added to stouts - raspberries, coffee, vanilla etc. More adventurous - chillies?

Or perhaps blend with something else you've brewed? Not sure how to figure out what or how much - probably half the fun :mug:

Maybe throw in some brett, etc. and put it away for a year with some oak or something?

How about oak chips for a week and then bottle it with a pint of bourbon and put it in a dark corner until Christmas?
