i made some of this today using edworts recipe but couldnt get a hold of the dextrose so i used 2 lbs of honey instead. should this be ok?
 
sure, i bet it'll be good! just leave it long enough for all that to ferment out...honey takes a while (but the apfelwein takes a bit anyway.) put it in a closet or something and forget about it for at least 6 weeks!

hmm...i have some apfelwein going and i think it's ready to bottle! giggity :D

I'm bottling mine on Monday or Tuesday :D :D 2 gal apple juice, 2 cups brown sugar, and red star champagne yeast :mug: :drunk:
