Hi
I will be making a Creemore clone taken from the BYO Clone recipe edition and the chilling method for the Creemore was to cover pot and put in ice bath, till sides are cool to the touch.
I normally use a wort chiller, but thought about following the directions as given, but I also recall reading that a covered pot of wort that is chilling can be a bad thing.
Anyone have any clarity on the matter? (this is a extract w grain recipe)
Cheers,
J
