I love Mad Elf but it's not in the same ball park as NN. We r lucky to have Troegs. Agree?FermentNEthinG said:I am rather partial to the Mad Elf. Between this and nugget nectar, Troegs brothers are responsible for my livers' downfall!
Tonight is a great night to have a Raging *****.
Any good?
Still only water for me, but, since the hospital is in Ardmore, PA, I snuck out to get a couple growlers to celebrate when I get home tomorrow

Having another HB american red to ease the pain of cleaning bottles
Oh man. He didn't make it out of the shutdown?! I'll have to pour out some of my next 40...

So Nizzle was my son's illuminati sacrifice? Crazy.

Just brewed a red ale/Evil twin clone myself. It was the first time running the new chugger pumps and it made for a interesting brew session.
this one didnt turn out too great, too roasted although not intense but also not enough hop presence, really none at all
On pounder #5, trying to figure out why I got #8 corks and if they will work in punted 750's, or if I just need to head back to my LHBS. Maybe pounder #6 will clear things up.
Anyone ever weigh their hop union hops? They are 1 ounce WITH the package. .6 ounces without. Heavy ass foil package robs you for sure!

Unless my scale is wrong, I usually get about 1.1-1.2 oz out of a hop union bag not including the packaging. So I don't know what you're talking about. I'm sorry they shorted your bag.
Drinking my 3724 Saison.

Fuzzymittenbrewing said:Should be 1.2 with the bag I think. Owner of my lhbs will let me weigh before buying. He says the short bags come from end of run and he sends them back for credit or just uses them for his brews
Uh oh! It might be time to do some hop freezer porn!
I haven't made this years order yet. Other expenses (like buying gauze) keep getting in the way, but I might actually order this week. I doubt I've got 2 lbs left. On the other hand my fozen fruit stash is pretty sexy.
