Will a Ranco be able to control a refrigerator well enough to hold a 70* temp? The only place in my home to ferment is the basement. My MIL lives there the basement was built as an apartment. She keeps it at 76*- 78* so I figure that will be too warm for good fermentation. I have a Ranco on it's way and a fridge just waiting, but got to thinking there may not be enough temp difference to keep the fridge at an even temp.
I'd do a Fermentation Chamber with ice containers but I work 24 hour shifts and will not be able to monitor them while at work. So there would likely be extreme temp fluctuations.
