Damn jim koch is a riot!

According to jim the yeast of the utopia is a ninja yeast. I really don't think I'd mind working under Jim learning th process of fermenting and brewing. He seems to be quite a knowlegable person willing to share said knowlage of yeast, grains, and hops.

I rea;;y need to go take a brewery tour sometime soon.

Come on out to the Berkshires some weekend, take a trip to the BBC (I've got to go one of these weekends). Someone was just noting last night that their tours were very cool, and that the guy giving it was nice enough to look over their recipe for a coffee porter and compare it to their own. Can't ask for much more than that.

EDIT: Technically, South Deerfield is the Pioneer Valley, but close enough.

Yeah, I was working out there (Deerfeild) last week. I picked up a couple of bottles. The lost sailor IPA was really good, as well as the Berkshire Ale.

If I was a bit cleaner leaving work I would have stopped by for a tour.
