I am new to brewing and brewed a kit of German Wheat beer.
I used White Labs liquid yeast that was about 1 year expired.
It was not fermenting. So, i added a packet of Dry Yeast.
Was this ok to do? Will the old yeast affect the taste of the beer?
Also, the Liquid yeast was a Wheat beer yeast and the dry packet was for an Ale... Hopefully i didn't ruin my first brew. Thanks for any feedback.
