Anyone have any feedback on this kettle http://www.homebrewstuff.com/servlet/the-284/8-gallon-32-qt/Detail? I am going to be setting up a 5 gallon all electric system and this is pretty tempting. A couple fewer holes I will need to drill and not a horrible price......

Note that the fittings are brass and not SS on this pot. For an economy pot it is a fair price, but if you are not on a tight budget I would recommend the 10 gallon all SS Polar Ware pot.

I'd recommend 10 gallons to anyone looking to all-grain brew five or more gallons of beer. 7.5 isn't large enough to manage a really good initial boil/hot break. Oh, it'll work. I did about 20 batches in my 7.5, but it wasn't easy and it took real management/vigilance of the hot break.

I built mine from a Bayou Classic pot. You don't need a clad bottom on all electric.

You can probably get an 11 gal. SS pot from the for around $80 or so... I'd email them. I agree, definitely wouldn't do less than a 10 gal pot though.
