Had an ipa yesterday that was a really bright orange color. Almost neon orange. What grain profile does it take to get that neon orange?
How neon orange? kinda like a carrot orange? Or as bright as hunter's blaze orange? I haven't had seen anything that was a "neon" orange that wasn't because of a dye like food colouring.
A lot is going to depend on the lighting. Here is the recipe for an IPA I am drinking. It has a decent orange color but you need a little light and a light colored background to see it. I'm guessing its the redwheat and rye that helps. The haze in the pic is on the glass, its a sharper orange when the glass isn't hazed.
That´s our last IPA experiment (belgian). It has an orangeish colour profile with a huge and persistent head! Full of spyces and flavors...
Cheers!!
