My order with my brewing kit and ingredient kits came in last night. Is there anything special I need to consider when storing extract kits outside of keeping the yeast in the fridge? I'm going to need a couple days to plan my brew day with Christmas coming up probably. Also, the package sat outside last night and the weather was around ~30 degrees, that should be ok for the yeast, right?

You could go a bit keeping it in a place like your pantry, or lacking that, just a dry storage area. Keep the yeast in the fridge if you like.
I always stock at least one brew kit for rainy days (please, Lord give me a rainy day).....
