Hello all Long Island/Queens/Brooklyn brewers! We've just formed a new homebrew & craft beer club based in Nassau County. You can find more information about it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/321834377975217/

First meeting will be on September 17 (we're firming up the location).

The club's focus will be homebrewing education and social activities (brewery trips, social nights, bottle share, etc.).

If you're not on facebook, send an email to hhcbc+subscribe at googlegroups.com to be added to the email list.

Our first meeting at Barrier Brewing in Oceanside was extremely well attended. A lot of good information, homebrew and Barrier beer was shared and consumed. And we got a personal tour of the brewery from Evan, one of the head brewers and owners.

Our next meeting will be October 21st at the Black Sheep Ale House in Mineloa. They're planning on having some special beers on tap for us; the featured speaker will be Paul from Blind Bat Brewery. More info on the group and the meeting can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HHCBC/

Our October meeting was fun and informative. Paul from Blind Bat was a great guest.

Next meeting is November 18 at Effin Gruven on Sunrise Highway in Bellmore. Lining up the guest presently; I'll post more info when that's locked in.

Check us out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HHCBC/

Our website is under development. I'll post the link when it's ready.

It's been a while, so I thought I'd post an update.

The club has been in existence for a year and a half and is going strong. I invite anyone interested to check out our website @ www.hhcbc.org, and to come to our next meeting.

We will be holding our March meeting at The Black Sheep Ale House in Mineola.
