DME vs Liquid malt extract

how many pounds of LME is equivelant to a pound of DME.

If I remember correctly, I think liquid extract is something like 80% of DME by pound.
Someone correct me if im wrong.

This sounds right!

4lbs DME would equal 5lbs LME. Basically 20% water content in LME
