Hazelnut Extract for Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar?

I'm going to use the BYO recipe to make a Rogue Hazelnut clone. The problem is that the hazelnut extract used in the recipe doesn't exist anymore.

Has anyone made a clone of this recipe and if so, what type and how much hazelnut extract did you use?
 
Hmm that sounds good, hopefully I can find some before I transfer for this to secondary in a week or so.

The guy at my local HBS said he's heard of people using frangelico and just flaming off the liquor. Anyone ever try that?
 
Frangelico sounds like an expensive route to go. A cheaper approach would be to use the hazelnut flavoring they sell at the LHBS to make a Frangelico knockoff.
