Hello, I have access to free 60 gallon wine barrels and I can pick any I want. Which kind should I use to secondary a sour pale ale? I know nothing about wine.
 
I'm guessing, but I'd guess for a pale beer you might a white wine barrel over a red barrel, chardonnay or sauvignon blanc perhaps?
