i have a nylon cloths line rope and wanted to know if that would be ok to use for hops to grow on. the weight rating is like a 100pounds or so.

I have similar rope, I have to get better pictures of my hop growing monster thing, but this is what I did with it:

I have 10' (painted) PVC pipes dug about 30" into the ground, they're partially filled with gravel just to weigh them down (couldn't use cement), and about a foot or two away from the top of the pipe are support lines running down to metal rings that are nailed into the ground with spikes. I used that rope running back and forth between two pipes, and tomorrow I will tie rope going vertically down to make a more complete net. Will post more / better pictures soon in the trellis section.
