Have never used cluster for anything other than bittering so I can't comment on that but I love fuggle. Just my opinion I would use cluster for bitt then use the fuggle for aroma and flavor. But someone might come in here and say clusters rock and use them for flavor.

Seems to be alot of crystal. I usually only put atmost 1lb in 5gal.:)

Yeah, no way would I use that much crystal. 3-8% is more likely to result in a good beer. This won't likely be good with 20%. Just way, way too much.

Cluster has a ton of harsh character, going from the numbers and what I've read, but never used it for aroma either. Could be an interesting experiment I guess, but I wouldn't use it for aroma either.

I just had the same idea for the name and googled it and found this recipe. The second iteration sounds good. Then again, I didn't think the higher percentage of crystal malt would be bad, either. I like more maltiness in my beers, even pale ales.

Cheers to you and I having the same epiphany of the name "Cluster Fugg!"
