i broke the gasket in the lid of my fermenting bucket in half...what should i do?

Until you get a new lid, place it on top, and if it doesn't snap shut, just tape it in place.

It should be. Even if it leaks, it'll be giving off CO2 pretty strong, so not much will get in. I might put on a blowoff tube though.

alright...thanks...wud it be fine if i replace the gasket tomorrow...if i remove the top to do it...or should i wait till im done using it?

Wait, you will introduce a lot more oxygen by removing the lid than any leak in the bad gasket ever could.
