I wanted a bench capper but didn't like what I was seeing with all the plastic on modern ones and went to look for old solid metal one. I found this on eBay for $20 with the shipping. I don't know how old it is but I googled the patent number and it was issued on July 4, 1922. Here are some pictures. It fits twelve oz, 22oz bombers, champagne bottles. I will probably fashion a base to bolt it too for stability. It is predrilled. I'm excited for my next bottling day.
